Actor Rejects Anti-Vaccine Stance After Narrating Contentious Pandemic Documentary

The "Taken" star has given his vocal talents to a recent film that challenges the safety of immunizations and lauds former government figure the political figure.

The Film's Contentious Basis

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is inspired by a well-known publication written by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the pandemic for assertions that the illness was a result of a faulty batch of the seasonal immunization.

The publication's writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has penned books with controversial figure a known commentator. He took to social media hailing Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

A Firm Denial

Representatives for Neeson have released a statement strongly denying suggestions that he subscribes to anti-vax beliefs.

"Many recognize that misconduct might be present within the drug industry, but that must not be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the statement states. "Neeson is not, and is not, against vaccines. His considerable work with the global charity underscores his consistent support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The statement added that the star had no hand in the documentary's messaging and that inquiries about its content ought to go to the creators.

Central Assertions In the Film

In the film, the voiceover provided by Neeson makes several controversial claims:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have demanded "blind obedience" to public institutions.
  • It declares that "science has become highly politicized."
  • Kennedy is interviewed saying, "The big problem with vaccines is that they are not properly vetted."
  • It further attacks Covid lockdowns, arguing they caused mental anguish that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • Regarding pandemic shots, it cites a view that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Past Background and Current Disputes

The documentary further cites a historical film about AIDS medication trials on children, which was later the focus of a correction by the corporation for violations of guidelines.

Recently, Kennedy called on the Centers for Disease Control to change its long-held position that there is no causal relationship between vaccines and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is repeated in the documentary, despite a fresh analysis from the global health body reiterating no connection has been found.

A Past Position of Support

Differing from the documentary's message, Neeson has previously shown strong support for vaccines in his role as a Unicef global ambassador.

Previously, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary achievement," noting that "The discourse about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in our history."

"Plague of Corruption" ends with Neeson's script saying, "This is not the finish of our journey. It is the dawn of a new chapter."
